Re: Yes I Like . . .

. . . In the 80's I went head over heals for Classical - Chopin in particular and a Canadian pianist Glenn Gould. His recording were interesting - you could tell they were recorded live since you can hear him grunting while playing. Another craze I feel into at that time was SKA. A very good friend ...

Re: HNPD

Geez Grumps - the lenses you must have. The detail on all your pics are awe inspiring - I marvel at them and spend a fair amount of time looking at the detail. Thanks also for the Latin, I've needed to brush up, people just don't use that language enough - it's almost like it's dead or something. :l...

The Beatles (DUH!) and all that came with it. I was told once that the song that was #1 on your 14th birthday ...

Re: It's Five O'Clock Somewhere . .

Well . . . . This ain't Rock & Roll. I remember when the Beatles came out and they played this wild, wacky chord - a C7 :) What a cool sound. Then learning ZZ Top and got into A9 and Am7 - love, love, love. :D So now I'm having to learn a whole new set of skills - being a jazzer Tom, these are proba...

Re: It's Five O'Clock Somewhere . .

No worries Strato. I'm am spiritual, not religious, my dad was excommunicated for marrying a second time after his first wife deserted him while he was at war. That kinda soured the whole family. So we were not immersed in 'organized religion'. I have no problem with anyone and their beliefs as long...

Re: It's Five O'Clock Somewhere . .

As long as he's a proper lad and a good musician..... When it rains it pours - speaking of a proper lads - I've been asked to join a worship band - I'm thinking Jesus is probably as proper as one can get. Some interesting songs to say the least. The best part is that it will once again be a ...
