Cheers Vin, that was a tough game against those Aussies, they were absolutely relentless.

I put in so much effort I puked on the bench, then managed to tweak my groin.

We think we’re through to the semi finals although we’ll find out for sure later tonight
TMI
Good luck Matt.

Re: It's Five O'Clock Somewhere . .

Good to see you have settled in Mel. Should be a great new adventure in your life. Have had the same issue with our dogs in the past. I'm in Hong Kong today and Shanghai China tomorrow, so you think you've got problems moving around.  :D You do get around Strato  Would love to s...

Re: A recent session

Love small amps. a 15 is probably more than enough - it's hard to get to the sweet spot even at 20.
I miss having 10inch, speakers that is . . . had a Peavy with 2 10's - 35 watts just killed it tone wise, but too loud - so off it went.

Re: It's Five O'Clock Somewhere . .

Melv ! Good to have you back. Quite the operation, your move. How does the dog like the new place ? She's getting settled, but it wasn't an easy move for her. First was the incontinence, we ended up buying a waterproof coverlet for the bed ERG!. My wife got tired of doing the bedding every day. She...

Re: A recent session

I'll agree with that sentiment Tom, but as a natural course, we always keep turning up our amps. Once everyone has left (cause it's too noisy to talk) we might think about turning them down. I try to adjust my guitar on the fly, but never find the sweet spot -Alas It really does seem to be constant ...

Re: It's Five O'Clock Somewhere . .

It's been 5 weeks in the new house and we are 85% (give or take) done unpacking boxes. Mostly thanks to the lousy Spring - cold and rainy. The first in, my musical gear . . . last to get to because of all the boxes - yeah, my musical gear. I've finally gotten one guitar in the living room and sorta ...
