Well, here's something new - a couple of things actually . . . .
They (Weather Forecasters) have been naming tornados for years, but I've noticed they now name most any storm - Quiana is to hit us today, followed closely by Ryan, we're gonna run out of names before winter breaks.

Quiana is bring us the other new thing - a bomb cyclone - we should have winds building all day to upper 40mph with gusts of 60.
We've battened down the hatches moved the patio furniture and are preparing for power outages.
Looks like a fun day - no worries Auntie Em, Auntie Em,

Blimey ! Do keep us posted about developments, if the grid allows you to do so.
Good luck and godspeed.

Made through just fine . . . small branches off our giant Maple in the backyard. Power outages both a mile north of me and two miles south.
I hear that northern Michigan (yeah, where I'm moving) they closed down the major highway and our trucks are not rolling up there today.

We have a hot spot for internet service, so we weren't really to worried, between that and a fireplace - it's all good. :D
It was still blowing this morning - so it's been well over 24hrs of non stop high winds.

It's a good thing to have a Mini Cooper in the high wind - I just hide next to the Semi's and hope they don't tip over. 8-)

Outages so close and you managed to keep the power running ! Very lucky.
Will there be more of this type of weather later on ?
