The packing begins indeed VIN.
This is now day 5 of a vacation week - tradition (for me) is to take the week after St. Pat's day off.
So Saturday gig, Sunday gig, Monday rent a Van and load it and drive 250 mi to unload it.
Tuesday drove to my soon to be new office, pick up a sh@t load of boxes from a drummer friend who had moved up in November and go to our new abode to do some measuring. :D
Wednesday, oh hey, that's today . . drove back home - neck is sore from all the driving, but now starts packing in earnest (or in Dearborn).
I'll going to see the leader of our wedding band on Friday and gig on Saturday - not sure which is my surprise party for retirement from the band, but I'm fairly sure at least one is - we'll see. :?:
No trips to the sunny south to kick back 8-) and relax on this VayKay, or any this year (and next).
More, when I know more.
Hope everyone is doing well on your side of the pond. :D

Thanks Tommo - just wish my wife would let go of some of our stuff . . she wants to take everything and I sort of understand.
I'm having a hard time giving up any of my guitars.
Even took one back I had on consignment - alas.

It will depend on how much we want to pay the movers VIN - the more we take the less of a load there will be.
Quite honestly, we should go every weekend from now till the end of April. :?

My wife wants to make a load of just house plants (90+) and all the annuals she has in the ground. Oh and the black raspberry bushes, and . . . :|
That of course has to wait for the ground to thaw enough to dig'em out.

It will take a full van to take my musical equipment as well - we won't take possession until 6 April, so till then just stuffing boxes, :(
Everything for now is going into Margo's step moms garage.

Crazy, Crazy, Crazy . . .
I promised myself I would try and write something every day -well, so much for that.
I'm too busy at the moment, but will tell you shortly about my surprise going away party and gift from the band.
It's truly awesome and maybe I can get Grumps to post it - yes, I am still challenged.
