Thanks Tommo - it was a blast. Never enough time to talk to all the people you want to, and miss the folks that either couldn't come or have passed (I guess it would be hard for them as well).
Sorry I couldn't get it together to play, but to drag equipment in for four or five songs (with no rehearsal) just wasn't in the cards.

Traffic Hell - they have a Cherry Festival up in Traverse City where the population goes from 15,000 to roughly 250,000 for a week straight.
Glad I learned the back roads to work - what a nightmare.

:D Almost . . . .
We've coped very well so far. We just head any direction but to town.

Another completely different subject - been swapping emails with a keyboard player, something the band always wanted.
He wants to start a band as opposed to just jam - I like that.
He's a bit younger, but then, everyone is

Hey Strato, did you catch anything of the protests that were going on, or were you in a different part of the city ?
Hey Mel, yes I was actually in the thick of the protest as I was meeting a buddy that afternoon and there were at least 300,000 people protesting. Peacefully thankfully, or at least from what I could see. I then left for Zongshan and then back to the north and Pingyeo which was a "walled" untouched city where no cars were allowed. Very interesting and had some special visitors staying in my boutique hotel that only had 12 rooms.
More later.

When it rains it pours - speaking of a proper lads - I've been asked to join a worship band - I'm thinking Jesus is probably as proper as one can get.
Some interesting songs to say the least.
The best part is that it will once again be a challenge - learning new songs.
I won't be playing G L O R I A, though maybe we could work that in . . . in excelsis deo.
